Essentials
Communications media for the Post & Parcel Germany follow the Corporate Design of Deutsche Post DHL Group with one exception: communications are co-branded with the Deutsche Post and DHL logos. Both brands are displayed equally, basically replacing the DPDHL Group logo. However, the Deutsche Post logo always comes first, followed by the DHL logo.
Examples
Logo sizes
A predefined ratio determines the size and spacing of the two logos. The width of the DHL logo is always 85% the width of the Deutsche Post logo. The Deutsche Post logo is always the same width as the DPDHL Group Logo. If both logos are placed next to each other, they share the same baseline.
One exception is business stationary, where both logos are displayed on the brand field and have the same height and width, regardless of the placement.
The horizontal and vertical minimum distance between both logos is one base unit. The Deutsche Post logo always comes first, followed by the DHL logo.
Horizontal alignment (left), vertical alignment (right)
Placement
A number of placement options are available, depending on the layout and available space. Based on the DPDHL Group layout principle, you have several options for placing both logos together on one layout.
Responsive Co-Branding
Our responsive co-branding logo makes it possible to showcase our Brands in small places. It may only be used in digital media where space is limited:
If when co-branding it’s not technically possible to display the DHL logo with a width of at least 84 pixels.
If the co-branding is too small to be clearly seen or recognized because of its width.
Here are some specific application examples:
Square or round app icons
Square or round social media profile pictures
Favicon (special design file available under Downloads)
Mobile websites and apps
Mobile online advertising banners

Placement
In app icons, social media icons or Favicon, the responsive logo is centered vertically and horizontally.
In Post & Parcel Germany applications, we prefer using the standard logo in the recommended width of seven base units. The responsive logo should only be used as an exception inside an application, such as in an app’s header or in a mobile online advertising banner. In that case, the responsive logo width should be 3 base units.
Dos and Don’ts
Use the responsive logo when it is not technically possible to display the standard co-branded Deutsche Post and DHL logos well on the screen.
Don’t use the responsive logo if there is sufficient space for the Deutsche Post and DHL logos.
Use the responsive logo in digital media only.
Use our standard logos in all print media, such as advertisements and other analog touchpoints.
Use only the official responsive logos made available for download in this guide.
Don’t modify the responsive logo in any way, including shape, color or dimensions. The same rules apply as for our standard logo.
