Co-Branding

In this guide, you will learn how communicate our partnerships and integrate them into our media, as well as how the DPDHL Group logo can be integrated into foreign media.

Essentials

When we work with another company to provide a common product or service, we use co-branding in our communications to make this partnership clear. When DPDHL Group takes the lead in the partnership, we include one or more partner logos in our media. When a partner takes the lead, they can place the DPDHL Group logo in their media.

Examples

Partner logos in DPDHL Group layouts

If a partner logo appears in DPDHL Group media, add a short descriptor above the logo to indicate the partnership. Format the descriptor in Delivery Regular and mixed case, and use black or white font colors, depending on the background. Make the descriptor around two points smaller than the copy text, but ensure it is legible. It should not be smaller than 6 pt in print media and 12 px in online media.

Placement

Always place the partner logo (with descriptor) within the type area and in combination with the DPDHL Group logo. Make sure it is visibly smaller than the DPDHL Group logo. The placement depends on the type of partnership.

A visual relationship

Arrange the partner logo (with descriptor) based on the position of the DPDHL Group logo. The preferred position is at the bottom edge of the type area and at a clear distance from the DPDHL Group logo.

A boilerplate

Consider inserting the partner logo (with descriptor) below the copy text as a boilerplate and aligned with the text above it. The minimum distance to the copy text is two blank lines.

Logo size

The partner logo size depends on the size of the DPDHL Group logo. The partner logo should never look bigger than the DPDHL Group logo.

Our logo in partner layouts

If our logo appears in partner media, we add a short descriptor (formatted in Delivery Regular and mixed case) above the logo to indicate the partnership. We also ensure that our logo is always used on our Postyellow brand field in partner media.

If you would like to use the DPDHL Group logo with a descriptor in partner layouts, please send a request to Group Brand Services (GBS). Include which descriptor you would like to use and a logo package will be made available to you.
