Essentials

Our DPDHL Group logo strengthens our global position, uniting us as the leading group in both the German postal market and the global express and logistics market. In order to consistently show the world that we are one group, we need to ensure our one logo is used consistently around the world.

Within almost all our media, the DPDHL Group logo is placed on a Postyellow surface. When used in the Gradient Module within layouts, it is combined with the Postyellow gradient.

Usage

Standard logo

Buffer zone
To ensure that our standard logo retains its legibility and integrity, always maintain a buffer zone of at least one base unit between the logo and all other design elements. (One base unit typically equals 1/7th of the logo width.) In DPDHL Group layouts, the buffer zone is at least two base units.

 

Minimum size
Our standard logo with brand field is strong enough to be visible and legible even when it is small, but do not reduce the size below a width of 100 px or 24 mm.

 

Minimum size
Do not reduce the size of our standard logo without brand field below a width of 84 px or 20 mm.

One-line logo

The one-line DPDHL Group logo may be used as an option in cases where there is not enough space to insert the standard two-line logo, such as in the footer area of a website, small-scale advertising media, sponsorship media with very limited space, etc.

Buffer zone
To ensure that our one-line logo retains its legibility and integrity, always maintain a buffer zone of at least one base unit between the logo and all other design elements. (One base unit typically equals 1/9th of the logo width.) In DPDHL Group layouts, the buffer zone is at least two base units.

Minimum size
Our one-line logo with brand field is strong enough to be visible and legible even when it is small, but do not reduce the size below a width of 124 px or 29.5 mm.

Do not reduce the size of our one-line logo without brand field below a width of 108 px or 25.7 mm.

Logo size generator

The standard logo size depends on the size of the base unit. Use the form to calculate the base unit. Generally speaking, we recommend a logo width equal to seven base units. To ensure consistency throughout all media, please use the size generated by the calculator. However, you may adjust the width as needed.

The size of our one-line logo also depends on the size of the base unit in the layout. Generally speaking, we recommend a logo width equal to nine base units. That's two more base units than for standard DHL and DPDHL Group logos. The same guidelines regarding consistency apply.

Dos and Don’ts

Placement

In print and digital layouts

The DPDHL Group logo is usually placed in one corner of the Gradient Module. There should be an obvious visual relationship between the logo and the images and/or text, for example by aligning them along the same vertical axis.
